It's time for the media to go nuts over a different Potter than Harry... next month will see the release of Miss Potter, a movie about Beatrix Potter, the children's author who first saw the real potential for a franchise of merchandise surrounding her books of playful animals. Of course, this Guardian writer wants to remind us that there is some pretty dark stuff in those books that we might have forgotten about.Miss Potter stars Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor. You might remember this team as the stars of Down With Love, a slightly odd romantic musical set in the swinging 60s.
