Bacall v. Deneuve

The Guardian draws attention to two very different actresses: Lauren Bacall and Catherine Deneuve. Bacall was self-sufficient, funny and sexy. "time was running out for women who could give as good as they got. ... The war was over and women were back in the bedroom and the kitchen, working on the baby boom." And in comes Catherine Deneuve and her Barbie doll hair... Honestly, if anyone reading picks Deneuve over Bacall, feel free to share your thoughts but know that I already think less of you as a result of your choice.
