Studying Philanthropy

Here's a NY Times article about a very interesting course being offered at Colgate University on philanthropy. What makes this one particularly intriguing? "...in early May, at the end of the school year, the students will award $10,000 to nonprofit organizations of their choice, after researching worthy recipients."
